Account Executive

Join us at AwakeTeams, an HR tech startup, and help grow our customer base from the ground up. We are just launching proof-of-concept product sales and are looking for an exceptionally motivated individual to help us grow beyond our initial footprint of new clients.

A day in the life:

·       Smiling, calling, talking …or to put it another way, relentless outbound prospecting!

·       Making and combing through lists based on our ideal customer/account profile and making discovery calls, helping evolve the ideal profile as needed.

·       Qualifying leads by understanding pain points and conveying how our solution will help

·       Handling and overcoming any and all objections by identifying the root cause

·       Closing deals and pulling them across the finish line

·       Providing an exceptional and customer-centric experience that allows you to control the buying journey from beginning to end

·       Ensuring pipelines and activities are consistently and accurately up-to-date with the highest level of attention to detail

·       Carefully tracking and relaying customer requirements and feature requests to team

·       Most importantly, bringing your energy and having fun!

Skills and Qualifications:

·       You are passionate about transforming workplace culture

·       Because you are passionate about the cause, your reservoir of energy is easily and often replenished—you are unstoppable

·       You know what it takes to sell, love the challenge, and have a track record

·       You love working together with other high-caliber and dedicated talent

·       You have empathy for the customer and exude confidence about adding value to them through the product

·       You care deeply about the success of each customer and your teammates

·       1-2 years of account executive and sales experience from SaaS companies: relationship-building, driving revenue, and closing business

·       You cultivate a growth mindset and mastery of the art of selling

·       You are coachable while also taking extreme ownership

AwakeTeams embeds the fundamental EQ skills in teams that drive engagement, wellbeing, belonging, and retention. A peer feedback algorithm ensures individual growth edges get developed and supplies the data to justify return on investment.

What started as the seed of an idea at the Founder Institute Silicon Valley program in 2020 has transformed into a soft skills enterprise training platform that identifies specific skills being developed—trust-building, communication, collaboration—improves them over time, and measures the impact.
